Bike Trouble!!!

Turns out both Don Sissions and my carbon fiber Jamis Dakar XCR Team frames have cracks in the frame. Sounds like Don has a new frame except the rear triangle coming.Dale has to send pics of my cracks to Jamis and see what they want to do. Good thing i decided to rebuild the Scott because it might be a while before i ride the Jamis again.

Trainer workout today( hills) and 6 miles on the snowshoes.

I hope they send you a new one.. those bikes are sweet! The backup is sure a good idea, I think next year I may get one for me, as I just spent a swack of mula on new road parts... yes, I am a roadie loser... Should stick with one type, it would be alot cheeper.

I wish they a bit sweeter and didn't crack.Road parts eh.Did you race road alot back in the day and when did start mtb racing?

Yeah, carbon scares me a bit, my MTB bars are carbon, but I'm flyweight.

I raced in like 2 road races back in 95, (Regina I think) and one MTB... so really not much. Used to ride lots with some roadie that went to Europe back then, and partied lots! Rode motocross lots too.

Just started back at the MTB in 2007, came in green with zero training to my first race... Grand Beach.- I think you blew a cassette on the start line beside me. Sense then I have gotten bit by the bug, and although it ain't cheep, compare it to sledding/MX, and it is.

I started 4 years ago in mtb racing and until last year was the first time i had been on a road bike,i bought it used from a guy in Winnipeg(Peter Greg)my back ground is in boxing i started when i was 13 and did it until 4 years ago.I was a fighter, coach and had my own club for awhile with some guys that fought for me.I decided that biking was easier one the brain.

Ha ha, a Boxer.. that's hilarious! I used to wrestle (olympic) in high school.. even went to the Nats one year. You wouldn't think it looking at me, but you know all about weight classes. I agree, biking should be better on the melon. - You going to ride Muddy waters? we should hook up.
