No i didn't join the Hell's Angel's but i will be riding for Olympia this year.I have been shopping there ever since i started racing and Scot and the rest of the guys have always been good to me.They really helped out with getting me ready for La Ruta last year and i am very thankful for that.

For you… I guess your frame limits your options. I would go with whatever you can get with some tread. Packing up will be a real issue if the ‘dirt road’ are even a little wet. I have run GearX 29 c (which have a huge tread) on the road bike, but it was tight in the back and dry weather. I used to have a set of cheap 23C with a great inverted tread that was awesome in snow and on ice. There were these green cross things they used to make for grass that had a really wide spacing with minimal knobs but I think they discontinued them. So we are back to 'whatever you can fit without packing up'. I would take a few test run on a really muddy road and see what you can get away with. If, however, it is dry then reg road rubber for you. And me. I? I have a cross bike!
