I made it into the leadville 100.I just got the email.I can't believe i made it threw the lottery.I sent in my request in dec/09 with a short bio of some of the races i have done and looks like i am going.Lance said he will be back to defend his title but there will be many many high end pro racers there.More than i have ever seen at one race.I better start training.Well maybe after i finish my beer.

I am going to have to ramp it up now.Or i will really suffer on that race.Now the fun part is finding a room.1500 racers and who knows how many other people(many many more)will be there.Might be tenting it.
some of us get excited just to do a wed night race... others travel the world doing racers. very cool. have fun.

To say I am jealous is like stating the winter is cold, the sky is blue, or Winnipeg summers have really sucked the last couple of years. What I will say is that I plan to use my jealousy to punish you on every climb, on every flat and every decent. Every person you race with is going to ensure that when you line up with Lace f***king Armstrong you are ready to represent the not-so-famous Winnipeg. Conrad’s! I think after the adventure you had climbing in the mud (with next to no sleep) you have earned your right to race to the sky.
