Trans Andes Here I Come

Finally got things worked out and i registered for Trans Andes in Chile in Jan 2013.It's going to be an adventure and to do it with a great friend ( Don Sissons ) is even better.I will be in the Men's solo open class.So far it's just the two of us going. His wife is coming down after the race to meet Don and have a vacation in the area and i am going to meet my wife and daughter in Orlando,Florida so we can spend a week and check out Disney Land.

Race Update ( new focus )

No Leadville for me and Trans Andes is still up in the air.Don Sissons has already signed up but i don't know weather i can make it yet because it is such a busy time of year for me.The big news for me though is that i just found out i qualify for the World 24 hour Championships in Sept so i am super pumped about this one.September 15 is pretty late in the season and could be a little cool.It's going to be epic!!!!!

Sidelined

This week i was sidelined with some kind of leg/hip inflammation that had me having a hard time walking.After two super hard weeks at Elite my body gave in and for me that doesn't happen very often.Should be ready to roll again next week i hope.As for work i have been shipping potatoes like never before.Usually i don't empty until summer but i will be pretty much cleaned out by the end of February.
